I’ve never heard of the site but Media Blitzz reports that veteran actor Michael Biehn is preparing to undergo elective heart surgery to replace a defective, congenital heart valve.
The star of films including The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Tombstone, Grindhouse and Anchor Bay’s forthcoming The Divide was recently released from Cedar Sinai after undergoing a series of cardiac related tests. The actor, who recently completed post production on The Victim, a film he wrote, directed and starred in, checked himself in after noticing some discomfort in his chest.
Doctors say the procedure, which has been undergone by other celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barbra Walters and Larry King, will repair the aortic valve, which prevents blood from flowing back into the left ventricle of the heart.
