‘Kill List’ Trailer Premieres Next Week, Teaser Taps Into ‘The Ring’

On the heels of the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas this past March, IFC acquired Ben Wheatley’s Kill List (review), which stars Neil Maskell, Michael Smiley, and MyAnna Buring. The trailer is promised to be released this coming Wednesday, with the newly launched official website, Facebook and Twitter now live. You’ll find a “teaser” video on the film’s website that plays similar to The Ring VHS tape.

The pic is about a group of demobbed soldiers turned contract killers who run up against a devil-worshipping coven.

Beginning 8 months after a disastrous job in Kiev left him physically and mentally scarred, ex-soldier turned contract killer Jay, is pressured by his partner Gal, into taking a tough new assignment. As they descend into the dark, disturbing world of the contract, Jay begins to unravel once again – his fear and paranoia sending him deep into the heart of darkness.
