Bloody Disgusting has already hit the floor of the San Diego Comic-Con and has landed early looks at the art for two forthcoming Sony genre films:
First is Columbia Pictures’ forthcoming Total Recall, the Len Wiseman-directed redo also starring Bryan Cranston, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bokeem Woodbine, Ethan Hawke and Bill Nighy. “The movie is ditches the Martian storyline from the original pic and instead involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai, with Douglas Quaid (Farrell), a factory worker in the latter who begins to believe he is a spy — although he doesn’t know for which side.”
You’ll also see Kate Beckinsale as the vampire Selene in Sony Screen Gems’ forthcoming Underworld: Awakening, the fourth film in the franchise arriving in theaters January 20, 2012 from directors Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein. “Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.
