“Childrens Hospital” creator/star Rob Corddry is in final negotiations to join Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer in Summit Entertainment’s zombie pic Warm Bodies, reports Variety.
Jonathan Levine (50/50, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane) is writing and directing the supernatural romancer, which is based on the novel by Isaac Marion.
“The story follows an existentially-tormented zombie who falls for the girlfriend of one of his victims and decides to protect her from his brain-eating brethren as he begins to reconnect with his dormant humanity.”
Hoult stars as R, a zombie who’s different from the rest of the undead, while Corddry will play M, the only other zombie like him … at first.
