A few months ago we announced Under The Bed, a “suburban nightmare tale [that’s] a love letter to early Steven Spielberg films.” The picture was produced by the founders of Bloody-Disgusting.
Now, Mr. Beaks over at AICN is reporting in from his visit to the film’s set. It’s an interesting look at the process behind filming an aesthetically ambitious film on a small budget without resorting to some of the usual tricks filmmakers use (shaky cam etc…) to mask the limitations of their means. Beaks is one of the best writers on the web and he brings some great insight to the proceedings, I highly recommend you check it out here.
Under The Bed is directed by Steven C. Miller (Automaton Transfusion) from a script by Eric Stolze. It stars Jonny Weston (John Dies at the End) and Gattlin Griffith (The New Daughter, Changeling, Green Lantern) and is currently in post-production.
