Watch ‘Atrocious’ for the next 24 Hours Free and Chat With BD Live!

On behalf of The Collective and Bloody Disgusting Selects, we are pleased to announce a special FREE online screening event for the international horror film Atrocious! In celebration of the film’s release to DVD on October 25th, it will be made available exclusively for free (the best price!) online right here on Bloody-Disgusting.com — or if you prefer it’ll also be available on Facebook.com/BloodyDisgusting. It starts at 8:30pm EST/5:30pm PST and is available for a 24 hour period.

To kick off this Halloween season event in style, Editor of Bloody Disgusting, Brad Miska, will host a live chat during the screening event @ 8:30pm EST/ 5:30pmPST. The event will take place via the Big Live video player on both Bloody-Disgusting.com and Facebook that will allow fans to chat during the broadcast with Brad as well as their fellow horror fanatics on Facebook.

After the initial broadcast, Atrocious will be available for free video on demand streaming until October 28th @ 8:30pm EST/5:30pm PST (To watch for free, make sure to start the film no later than 7:00pm EST/ 4:00pm PST on October 28th!) After that time, Atrocious will be available for paid video on demand rental on Bloody-Disgusting.com. The directorial debut of Spanish helmer Fernando Barreda Luna, “ ‘Atrocious’ excerpts found footage from a film reel recovered by Spanish police, documenting a family of five discovering the truth behind a dangerous urban legend. The 37 hours of found footage follow Cristian and July Quintanilla passing time at their summer home by investigating a terrifying and mysterious urban legend. As their investigation intensifies, strange occurrences in and around the house escalate rapidly, culminating finally in unspeakable atrocities.

‘The Watchers’ Has a New Release Date and It’s the Same as the Original Release Date

In the wake of this week’s brand new trailer, Ishana Night Shyamalan’s upcoming horror movie The Watchers once again has a new release date. And as the headline of this article suggests, New Line Cinema has moved it back to its original release date. Say what?!

The Watchers had originally been set for theatrical release on June 7 before being recently bumped to June 14. But we’ve learned tonight that it’s been moved back into the June 7 slot.

That’s Hollywood for ya. In any event, watch this week’s new trailer below.

The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.

The Watchers stars Dakota Fanning (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian), Oliver Finnegan (“Creeped Out”) and Olwen Fouere (The Northman).

The upcoming mystery-horror film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan and Nimitt Mankad. The executive producers are Jo Homewood and Stephen Dembitzer.

Joining writer/director Shyamalan behind-the-camera are director of photography Eli Arenson (“Lamb,” “Hospitality”), production designer Ferdia Murphy (“Lola,” “Finding You”), editor Job ter Burg (“Benedetta,” “Elle”) and costume design by Frank Gallacher (“Sebastian,” “Aftersun”). The music is by Abel Korzeniowski (“Till,” “The Nun”).

The Watchers is based on the novel by A.M. Shine.
