During last night’s “The Walking Dead” finale two new TV Spots aired for a pair of upcoming genre titles.
Below you’ll find a brief, but excellent spot for Lionsgate’s The Cabin in the Woods, which opens on Friday, April 13. In the Drew Goddard-directed slasher, “A group of friends at a cabin retreat scratch the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out. If you think you know this story, think again. ‘Cabin in the Woods’ is a mind-blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out.”
Also added is a commercial for Relativity’s The Raven, from James McTeigue, the director of V for Vendetta, and starring John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe. In theaters April 27, “Luke Evans will play a detective who partners with Poe (Cusack) to search for a serial killer who has kidnapped the author’s fiancee (Alice Eve) and has gone on a murder spree that mimics the author’s work.”
