Deadlight Is Starting To Look Like One Of The Best Downloadable Games Ever
I’ve got to say, I couldn’t be more excited for Deadlight. If you’ve played Shadow Complex, I would definitely compare it to that. But in a dark zombie like way. A 2D’esq sidescroller with incredibly detailed 3D backgrounds make this game super original and kick ass looking. If you head past the break you can check out a developer diary from Tequila Works all about Deadlight. You can tell these guys love what they do, and are meticulous about the creation process.

Is it weird to say I want this game in my bum? Because I do. It looks like the type of game that’ll treat you good, ya know what I’m talking about? Like, it’ll give you a night to remember, then after it leaves your place it’ll call you to tell you how much it misses you.

I’m looking forward to this game. There’s some stuff I don’t really like however; the late 70′s/80′s time frame and the proportions of buildings and background to the characters. It also seems that some stuff is a little far fetched (besides zombies) your characters ability to climb and hang from live telephone wires, etc. All in all though I’m really digging what they’ve shown so far. I know I’m an asshole.
