An English-subbed trailer for the Thai horror Dark Flight 407 has been added to YouTube. “Thailand’s first 3D horror movie is ready to take off. The pic follows a flight attendant who is haunted by the victims of plane crashes.”
Being sold at the market is Predestination, a new thriller from Undead and Daybreakers directors the Spierig Brothers. Sinister star Ethan Hawke, who starred in the Spierig’s Daybreakers, stars in the “Riveting adventure through time with two detectives from a secret government time traveling agency designed to prevent future killers and terrorists from committing their crimes.”
The Cannes Film Festival has added another seven titles to its Official Selection, one the Midnight Screening title Maniac. Franck Khalfoun’s Maniac is a remake of William Lustig’s cult horror film about a serial killer, starring Elijah Wood and Nora Arnezeder. The picture is produced by Thomas Langmann and Alexandre Aja. “Wood plays the role of a serial killer who works at a shop that sells antique mannequins. He finds victims on the Internet and stalks them like prey, all the while suffering from hallucinations that throw him back into the past, when he was abused by his own mother. In his twisted mind, he gains a measure of revenge against his mother with each kill.”
While Enderby Entertainment is selling Brett Donowho’s At Silver Falls at Cannes, they’re also pushing out his No Tell Motel, which we’ve added both the sales trailer and poster art for below. In the film starring Angel McCord, Johnny Hawkes and Chelsey Reist, “Dirty little secrets are exposed when five friends become stranded at an abandoned motel haunted by a dark secret of its own.“
