UPDATED: Here It Is (Kind Of)! The Trailer For Rob Zombie’s ‘Lords Of Salem’!
This guy just premiered at the Rob Zombie/Megadeth show last night at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey, the trailer for The Lords of Salem! If I’m not mistaken this is the first non-sequel, non-remake Rob Zombie movie in 7 years!
“The story is about a local DJ who mistakenly unleashes a hellish curse on the town. 300 years earlier on the very streets of Salem that the townspeople walk on today, innocent folks were rounded up from their homes, convicted of being witches and sentenced to death. The Lords of Salem ran the town with an iron fist, but four witches who were tortured and killed in secrecy vowed that one day they would be back for revenge.” Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Bruce Dern, Sheri Moon Zombie, Dee Wallace, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Ken Foree, Bruce Davidson, Christopher Knight, Michael Berryman and Sid Haig all star.
The quality right now is, of course, VERY shaky. Zombie’s podium is blocking the screen for the first bit (I thought podiums were Manson’s thing), but once the camera pans to the side you can see a some decent footage. I’m not gonna watch this, I hate bootlegs I’ll just wait for the official one.
I watched it and it’s a pointless watch. I’ll wait for the official trailer as well. I just want to know when the damn release date is.
BD i appreciate you putting this up but i literally couldn’t make out a thing except i think i saw Sheri and i saw the title of the movie. lol. oh well, a better version will be up soon. i noticed it’s a VERY short teaser for a teaser (it seems).
podiums were rob zombies thing way before that chump manson came along, looking forward to an official trailer, glad robs gone back to some original work
non-remake? All his movies are remakes. Texas Chainsaw, Natural Born Killers, Halloween, Halloween 2, and now Hocus Pocus!

Indeed! It looks like an R-rated version of Hocus Pocus. I’m not completely sold, but it could be fun.
I wish he’d make Werewolf Women of the SS into a full movie. Out of all the Grindhouse faux trailers it was by far my favorite.
