TV: Season 5 Of “True Blood” Finally Gets A Trailer! And Yes, It Looks Insane
HBO’s forthcoming fifth season of “True Blood,” has given us a bunch of behind-the-scenes snippets, but – to my knowledge – no actual footage as of yet. That all changes now with this trailer, which looks pretty nuts to me.
“True Blood” returns to HBO Sunday, June 10 at 9 PM ET/PT. The show’s fifth season will contain 12 episodes and will be the last season of the program overseen by show runner Alan Ball.
“Mixing romance, suspense, mystery, and humor, the Emmy-nominated show takes place at a time when vampires have come out of the coffin and follows the on-and-off romance between waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, and 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Moyer).”

That kicked ass! I also noticed a brief scene of the Jesus Brujo demon. Interesting!
I hope this season is more eventful than the last two. I know I shouldn’t complain, it’s a fun enough show, but they really have been dragging their feet.

I liked season 4 but this looks like a huge improvement. This show is at its best when it makes the actual vampires the focus. Season 5 looks nuts !
