NPR’s “All Things Considered” Tackles Maryland Deathfest

Perhaps it’s because I don’t listen to NPR as often as I should but I rarely hear that they cover rock or metal. That’s why I think it’s interesting and exciting that the program “All Things Considered” decided to give coverage to the Maryland Deathfest, which is the largest metal festival in North America. The event, which starts today (Thursday) and goes through Sunday evening, will see such acts as Autopsy, Saint Vitus, Godflesh, Morbid Angel, Electric Wizard, and many more. You can hear the NPR program here.

Tickets for the event are still available here.
