Father To Pull ‘Trigger’ On Microbudget Monster

Chapman U’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts has picked Trigger as the first project for its microbudget production shingle Chapman Filmed Entertainment, reports Variety.

Wooly Boys scribe Max Enscoe will pen the script while Chapman alumnus Basel Owies will direct.

The pic follows two men fixated with what causes evil: A father who destroys his own life in pursuit of a monster and his son’s attempt to unravel his father’s obsession.

Launched in 2011, Chapman’s microbudget division aims to finance between four and six pictures per year in the $250,000 – $625,000 range.
