Blacklist Script Heads To Supernatural ‘Bethlehem,’ Pennsylvania

Universal Pictures is looking to stay in business with Snow White and the Huntsman producer Joe Roth, as the studio is in negotiations to acquire Larry Brenner‘s supernatural spec script Bethlehem, which Roth Films is producing, says Variety.

Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who served as VFX supervisor and second unit director on Huntsman, is attached to make his directorial debut with the pic, which Roth will produce with Palak Patel.

The story follows a group of humans who turn to an unlikely ally to protect them from harm and shepherd them to a safe haven in Bethlehem, Penn.

Brenner previously wrote Angelology, which Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment is currently developing.
