It’s blatantly obvious to any Metallica fan that lead guitarist Kirk Hammett is a huge horror fan. His horror-artwork guitars alone betray his appreciation for the darker side. Now he wants to share that love with fans in the form of Too Much Horror Business – The Kirk Hammett Collection, a 9×12 art and photo book that shows Kirk’s private collection of horror memorabilia. It will also include conversations regarding the importance and personal significance of many of the items.
Kirk states, “This is my gift to all the other horror nerds out there who are just like me. It’s been made with great love for all the many characters and movies which guided me through childhood, into adulthood and which still keep me on track today.”
Kirk will also be producing limited edition collectible items through his own webstore, KVHToys. These rare items will begin to see release starting October 1st. His book is available for pre-order at this site.
