Capcom is really pushing Leon’s campaign, possibly to soothe the growing worries of their hardcore fan base since it’s the closest in atmosphere and setting to what longtime fans of the series have been asking for since Resident Evil 4. This time, Leon and his partner Helena Harper have to fight their way through a subway tunnel that’s brimming with the infected. I have to admit, seeing Leon get surrounded by a group of shambling zombies as he desperately tries to fight his way through them is a little exciting. I hope there’s a lot of that, because the other two campaigns look decidedly less scary. Check out the new gameplay after the break.
The above footage was shown on a PS3, whereas every time we’ve seen the game until now has been demoed on an Xbox 360. Resident Evil 6 releases on October 2nd for the PS3 and Xbox 360 with the PC version following sometime later.
