[Boredom Bytes] A Day In The Life Of Max Payne, Real ‘Minecraft’ Block, Swamp Ass PSA
It’s Friday, and that means the weekend is almost here. If you’re struggling to find the strength to get through the day, I highly recommend these videos. They’ll spend some time with you, make you feel real special, then disappear after you’ve used them up. Consider this my gift to you. After the jump you’ll get to see what it’s like being Max Payne, the dangers of Swamp Ass, and what a Minecraft block would look like in real life.
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day, and that’s an impressive feat because I’ve spent literally every second looking at funny things since I woke up this morning.
This one’s been around for a year now, but for those who missed it, this is a must watch. Forget the dangers of smoking and global warming, this is something that humanity really needs to band together on. Together, we can defeat Swamp Ass.
This is just too cool. Some guy created a “real” Minecraft block, you can even hit it and watch as it crumbles. Now he needs to make enough of these blocks so I can build a house out of them.
Seen something better? Feel free to email me fun stuff you find on the Internet, or if that’s too much work, tweet it to me.

Legendary Grimdark ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Artist John Blanche Has Passed Away at 78
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war, but it was a cheerful illustrator from England who helped to define the terrifying war-torn imagery that inspired what we now know as Grimdark (a hybrid genre combining horror with sci-fi/fantasy).
Unfortunately for fans of Warhammer 40,000, Trench Crusade and countless other sources of Grimdark thrills, veteran artist John Blanche passed away this week after struggling with health issues for the past few years.
While the artist retired back in 2023, he leaves us with an enormous legacy of iconic artwork that continues to inspire gamers and storytellers around the world to this very day.
The news is especially gloomy as it was only last year that Daniel Lowman and Napoleon Dynamite himself Jon Heder released The Grim & the Dark: The Search for John Blanche, a documentary following Heder’s exploration of the Grimdark genre culminating in a heartwarming encounter with Blanche in his own home.
Below is one of my favorite pieces by Blanche, his highly influential depiction of Warhammer 40k’s God-Emperor of Mankind on his Golden Throne.
We send our deepest condolences to John Blanche’s family, friends, and fans.
