AOL Noisecreep has an awesome gallery of the masks of Slipknot through the years, beginning with their debut self-titled album all the way through to All Hope Is Gone. It’s interesting to cycle through the images as they show not only the evolution of the masks but also the evolution of the band in their aesthetics and feel. The images start with an almost industrial vibe but progress into something far more mysterious and terrifying. Below are a few samples as well as the link to the full gallery.
Slipknot just released Antennas To Hell, a greatest hits album that celebrates the history and career of the band. You can pick up the deluxe 3-disc edition here.
