Singer Chrysta Bell has released a video for “Bird Of Flames”, a song that features director/musician David Lynch. The video, directed by Chel White, is a haunting, surreal vision in which a writhing, undulating dancer moves around a ball of lace from which, later in the video, Bell is born. The song comes from her album This Train (iTunes). You can watch the beautiful video below.
Bell explains, “Adding my vocals and making it a duet was incredibly meaningful to me and gave the song a new dimension. We knew we wanted a video, but finding a way to visually capture the uplifting yet darkly penetrating energy of the song was going to be a challenge. Chel White’s sublime talent for unusual, compelling and thought-provoking imagery was beautifully matched for the music. He did a magnificent job.“
