Forget Halloween Horror Nights, Knott’s Scary Farm Halloween Haunt 2012 has been possessed by deadites!
Via the official Facebook fan page:
“The Rumors are true….
Hail to the King, Baby.
‘Evil Dead’ comes to Scary Farm!
The legendary film is being remade and what better way to celebrate than to experience the terror firsthand…
The Timber Mountain Log Ride will become The Evil Dead for Scary Farm 2012.
Come to Papa.”
Knott’s Scary Farm is easily my favorite of all horror-themed amusement parks, mainly because there are so many mazes that you rarely end up waiting in massive lines. While Universal’s Horror Nights can amass a 3+ hour wait, you’ll never stand in line for more than an hour at Knott’s.
It should be noted, though, that while the Quarantine maze was pretty tight, the Stepfather “gimmick” was a disgrace. Hopefully mixing it into a pre-exiting ride ads some serious depth. We’ll report back from the event.
