In a previous announcement, Anchor Bay gave the full specs for their August 21st Blu-ray releases of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. The two classics will still be coming to blu-ray with all new HD transfers but some of the features have changed (even though there’s still over an hour of both archival and newly created bonus features). More specifically, you won’t be getting those 30 minutes of deleted scenes from Halloween 4. Or the commentary with writer Alan B. McElroy (thanks to BC for the heads up). As of yet, no reason has been given for these changes.
