This is where I shake my head and wonder, “What the hell is going on?” Pop-punk band Green Day, it seems, will be getting their own version of the hit mobile game Angry Birds. While no official trailer or photos have been released, the Japanese Angry Birds twitter posted a photo of three silhouetted pigs, that appear to have spiky hair, with the hashtag #greendaypigs. On the band’s official website, there is a photo of one of the spiky haired pigs but in color with pink x-ed out eyes.
I was super into Angry Birds for a while and then I just stopped caring. Is the game even still that big? Or is the idea of it larger than the actual following?
