Before you get your panties in a bunch and scream that the song doesn’t sound like black metal at all, I’m not talking about the song. I’m saying that the new video for Garbage‘s “Big Bright World” looks like it has a lot of black metal video influences. It features handheld, shaky shots of old cemeteries, catacomb-esque tunnels, artistic shots of hour glasses with the time running out… I swear, director Julie Orser must be a fan of black metal. It’s the only explanation I can come up with. Check out the video below and tell me if I’m right.
