Chris Smith’s Black Death’ Gets UK Theatrical Date

Sometimes I wish I lived in the UK, there are some big films that get their first theatrical run out there before getting dumped on DVD here in the States. While I wasn’t a big fan of Christopher Smith’s Triangle, Creep and Severance are both pretty great films. Smith has yet another horror flick arriving in UK theaters on February 26 as Revolver Entertainment will release Black Death, which stars Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Carice Van Houten, Rupert Friend and Kimberley Nixon. Set in an apocalyptic medieval world, “Death” details the story of a band of brothers whose quest is to hunt down a necromancer against the backdrop of the first outbreak of bubonic plague in England.
