Some sad news hit audiences at Midnight Madness who were hoping to catch a glimpse of horror icon John Carpenter at the world premiere of his The Ward, which screened this past weekend at the Midnight Madness portion of the Toronto International Film Festival. When Carpenter didn’t show (he was summoned to jury duty), he apologized with the following hilarious intro that screened before film’s premiere. It’s pretty fun stuff. You’ll have to watch some red carpet footage in order to see it, but it’s well worth it. Amber Heard (All The Boys Love Mandy Lane), Jared Harris, D.R. Anderson, Laura-Leigh, Danielle Panabaker, Lyndsy Fonseca and Mika Boorem are all featured in the red carpet footage. Here, we clipped the video for ya!
