Warner Bros. is adding to the ever-popular Batman Animated Series with an adaptation of Frank Miller’s Bat-epic The Dark Knight Returns. The adaptation takes place a decade after Bruce Wayne traded in the cape an cowl for a life of retirement and fine liquor. But, when Two-Face return, Bruce realizes that Gotham will always need it’s Bat to rid the city of criminals. A big bad gang known as The Mutants attempt to take over the city, and it’s up to Batman and his new Robin to take them down.
“Batman The Dark Knight Returns Animated” is directed by Jay Oliva and written by Bob Goodman. The voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne is done b Peter Weller along with David Selby as Commissioner Gordon, Ariel Winter as Robin, Wade Williams as Two-Face, and Michael McKean as Dr. Bartholomew Wolper.
