R.M. Guéra Is The ‘Django Unchained’ Miniseries Artist

One of the bigger announcements from this year’s San Diego Comic Con was that DC’s Vertigo branch would be publishing a miniseries for the upcoming Quentin Tarantino Blaxploitation/Western mashup, Django Unchained. Not many details were announced until today when DC’s Source blog announced that R.M. Guéra (“Scalped”) will be doing the interior artwork for the series. More inside.

It was also revealed that Jim Lee would be doing a variant for at least issue #1 of “Django Unchained”. The series is to follow one version Tarantino’s script, though not necessarily the one the film is using. The first installment hits stores in December and it will include the full screenplay.
