Paramount Pictures wants you to know that fans all over the world think Paranormal Activity 4 is scary, so they’ve released the following TV Spot featuring the age-old night-vision footage from early screenings.

In theaters October 19 from Catfish duo Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the cast is said to feature Katie Featherston, Kathryn Newton, Matt Shively, Brady Allen, Alisha Boe and Tommy Miranda.

It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in.

That looks Terrifying!…….Ridiculous!I like these films but they don’t do any of that to me when I watch them.

I couldn’t help but laugh when they showed the Japanese girls xD

But mehh, I doubt this is that scary..

LOL. i unfortunately saw the tv spot showing the audience (while watching the movie) reactions to the movie (yet it literally could be any movie the audience was watching and they just hype up that it’s PA4) and it’s THE lamest thing i’ve seen in a while. the audience is obvious aware the cameras are on them and are being so overdramatic and hystrionic. lol.

And for all I know (I don’t speak German, Japanese) they could all be saying how terrible it was. Lol, hilarious trailer.

These commercials always make me groan. I have never been in a movie where people react this way. It would be a lot of fun to see people react like that to a horror film, but I’ve never seen it. I don’t even remember there being *that* many big scare moments in the first three that caused people to react in such a manner. And yet, they used the EXACT same marketing campaign for the three entries!
