[Awesome] Big Trouble In Little China Vs. Gangnam Style Feat. The Actual Lo Pan

Big Trouble In Little China may very well be one of my all-time favorite movies. Whenever I’m flipping through the channels and it’s on, I stop. I watch the whole damn movie, my lips reciting nearly every single line as they come up. Yeah, that’s how much I love the movie.

Wanna know another thing? I love Psy‘s “Gangnam Style”. That song is so damn infectious and the video so outrageous that I can’t help but love it. When Psy just screams at the yoga woman’s ass, I nearly bust a gut every time.

So what happens when you mix two things I love? You get “Lo Pan Style”, featuring none other than the orignal Mr. David Lo Pan himself, James Hong! Check it out below! While you’re at it, what’s your favorite line from Big Trouble In Little China?

I’ve been lucky to avoid Gangnam style. And I will continue to avoid it.

Connecting anything this lame with Big Trouble is disgraceful. Shame on them.

Thanks BD, until now I was untroubled by the Gangnam song, but after watching the Lo Pan Version (which is indeed funny) I also listened to the original.
So poor how today a hit can be produced without any musical talent.
How could this even become popular?
Maybe it’s just the taste of todays listener..

I avoided this whole gangnam style thing too. The parodies were coming out fast and furious and I just got sexy and I know it out of my head. That said I’ll click on anything having to do with BTiLC and that was effing awesome, I’ve seen it like 3 times now. Of course, I had to seek the original and it was damn funny and catchy as Hell. I’m sure I’ll watch a couple if the parody ones now but this will remain my fave.

It became popular in Korea first, then with the power of the net, popularity spread across the world. It IS just a mindless trend, though. It’s just like that whole Soulja Boy thing(urgh) or the Macarena. Stupid songs with stupid dances that everybody thinks is hot shit when it’s “in trend”, then as soon as it’s forgotten, everybody acts like they never liked it in the first place and others are in total regret that they did. People are so freakin STUPID!
