Hong Kong director Herman Yau has started shooting his first 3D production, suspense horror The Second Coming, as a Hong Kong-Singapore-Taiwan co-production, says SCreen Daily.
Australian writer Ng Tin Chi, who also wrote the screenplay, is co-directing the film. The cast is headed by Hong Kong actors Maggie Siu, Kenny Wong and Don Li with up-and-coming Malaysian actress Joey Leong (Blood Ties).
“Leong plays a teenage daughter who starts to experience hauntings, forcing her family to confront their past and the unveiling of some uncomfortable truths.”
Yau and Ng are working with Singapore’s Widescreen Media for the stereoscopic 3D on the film. Widescreen previously worked on successful 3D films such as Bait 3D, Flying Swords Of Dragon Gate and upcoming Korea-China co-production Mr Go 3D.
