[TV] Next On “The Walking Dead” Episode 3.06 “Hounded”

AMC’s The Walking Dead continues to impress, and while we work our way to the halfway marker, we’ve got for you a sneak peak of next week’s episode. In addition, check out two behind-the-scenes videos from tonight’s episode “Say the Word.”

Next Sunday, November 18 AMC airs episode 03.06 “Hounded”. In the episode, Rick returns to check on the group.

In the highly anticipated new season, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his fellow survivors continue to seek refuge in a desolate and post-apocalyptic world and soon discover that there are greater forces to fear than just the walking dead. The struggle to survive has never been so perilous. Season 3 also introduces new characters, including the Governor (David Morrissey) and fan-favorite Michonne (Danai Gurira), along with her zombie pets.

Okay, so I need some advice. I watched the season premier this year but haven’t watched after. Season 2 just got to be such a chore for me to watch from week to week. I guess what I want to know is has this season (honestly, no uber fanboy denial please) made any improvement over last? If so is it worth tuning back in and catching up?

    • Dr_Loomis

I consider myself a casual watcher. I’ve never read the comics. In my opinion, this season is so much better than 2.

I really liked season 2. It was the build up to all this insanity going on for season 3. The calm before the storm. This show kicks ass!

There is no comparison. This season has been one shock after another and quite gory. Well worth it.

Alright, I guess I’m going to have to catch up on the last 3 weeks. Thanks!

    • To a casual fan, I can see how Season 2 was tough – but it connected you to the characters and their stories, but enough about that. Yes. Season 3 is brutal. Some of the goriest scenes you’ll see on TV. Well worth watching. All of those characters you got to know in season 2 — they are much different now – much colder.

I was wrong, I’m only a few episodes in but season 3 is good stuff.

Aaron, I will admit first that I am a die-hard fan of this show. I can see why some people were frustrated with last season. But…. you need to go back and finish Season 2 quickly so that you can tune in to this season IMMMEDIATELY! This is the best show on TV in my opinion.

Dr. Loomis, sometimes I envy those who haven’t read the comics, as they have no idea what to expect next…. i.e. Rick answering the phone last night (who’s on the other end?). I know the answer because I read the comics, but I can’t wait to see how they flesh that part of the story out. Also, the comics included the “entertainment” at Woodbury last night, so I was glad to see that come to light and can’t wait to see more of Michonne!

But, even as a comic reader, they have thrown so many curveballs and changed so much that it is fun for us as well. You just never know what is coming next.

  • MachetAY

I have no idea why but I keep thinking. Michonne and Andrea are going to hook up in the future.

I hope it doesn’t because I want the Gov to play out like the comics.

  • Marty McFly

So far this season is miles better than season 2. (Not to say season 2 was bad, because it was good.) This season has been pretty insane so far. Best show on tv without a doubt.
