Porcupine Tree mastermind Steven Wilson has unveiled a great deal of details for his upcoming third solo album. First of all, the title is The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories). Secondly, the album artwork, which was done by Hajo Mueller (and not Lasse Hoile(!!!)), can be seen below. Third, the album will be released Feb. 25th through Kscope Records.
Per Steven’s official website, “The album was written between January-July and recorded in Los Angeles in September with Steven’s current band line up of Guthrie Govan – lead guitar, Nick Beggs – bass guitar, Marco Minnemann – drums, Adam Holzman – keyboards, Theo Travis – saxophone / flute and engineered by legendary producer/engineer Alan Parsons.”
A limited-edition 4-disc set will be released. It will feature a 128 page hardback book containing lyrics and ghost stories, illustrated by Hajo Mueller. There will also be stand alone double vinyl, CD and Blu-Ray editions.
