Park Chan-wook’s (Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengenace, Lady Vengeance, Thirst) english-language debut, Stoker, penned by Ted Foulke (aka Wentworth Miller), is only months away at this point so we can expect to see a lot more of it (and hear how it plays at Sundance) in the coming future. Today we’ve got a look at a new international poster, which reveals a little bit more blood when you look in its reflection.
Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Jacki Weaver, Lucas Till, Alden Ehrenreich, Phyllis Somerville and Dermot Mulroney all star. “After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.”
Stoker hits theaters March 1st from Fox Searchlight. Head inside to check out the new poster!
