  • Lonmonster

Oh my god I want this now.

    • Sami Smith

      same here!

  • ThunderDragoon

Holy fuck that looks amazing! I NEED to see this.

  • sdg1105

Wow that was Awesome I am SO fucking excited for this.

  • K-Dogg

    This…Looks…..AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • TheDarkFluke

Too bad you will have yours eyes covered at the gruesome scenes.

  • Marty McFly

Jaw. On. The. Fucking. Floor……….. Incredible trailer!!!!

    • diapers

Haha, when I read your post, I re-watched the trailer, literally looking for a severed jaw on the floor. Occasionally I’m a little slow.

  • HorrorManiac666

At first, I didn’t want to see but now I kind of do.

  • BornVillian

I don’t have words to describe how awesome that was.

  • En_Noir

    Fuck. This looks amazing.

  • diapers

I’ll be there opening night. Stoned off my ass. The wife will be delighted.

    • flesheater24

I don’t think you should watch this stoned LMFAO. Just saying i don’t think you’ll ever be the same.

    • Murdock408

Same here, jeez man it’s gonna be INTENSE!

    • divisionbell

      Amen to that!

    • Mr.Mirage

If you see a tall, overweight bald white man, goatee, distinctive mole over right eye… that will be me. Tripping the balls fantastic.
Now, anyone know where I can get some high powered blotter? Seriously, watching the clip, I felt like I was already there…

Holy Fucking Shit! (Can we use HFS for that?)

Man, and go back and find all of the HATE the mere announcement for this generated… “Another remake? It’ll be shit!” Hah.

From what I just saw (ingested?), I would wonder if a NC-17 horror remake would be eligible for Best Picture Of The Year around l’il phallic statue time….

  • This is beautiful. I can’t fucking wait. Delicious gore and scares I want to eat it raw.

  • Pink

Ouch! Looks great…but…Didn`t they just now show….well, the whole movie?!? Looks hardcore though….I`m a huge fan of the original, so will definitly see this!

  • Cozen

And by meh, I mean Fuckin-A-Right! This looks get-babysitter-opening-night worthy. I’m with you ‘diapers’…definitely dragging the wife to this one. So appreciative that a top 3 horror movie (IMHO) gets what appears to be a badass remake.

  • WalkingDeadGuy

That was awesome. Amazingly awesome! Wow. Wow. Wow.

  • Nothing333

So glad the Green filter seen in the first trailer is not in the final product. I have to say this is the only remake I’ve been excited for ever.

    • Aaron Emery

It looks great without the filter! The material lends itself to the raw/ unfiltered look.

    • Mr.Mirage

I am stealing this. Thank you.

  • sterling.tull

I am 14. The original Evil Dead was the first horror movie I ever saw. Now this is coming out… and all I can say about this glorious trailer…is….WOW

    • flesheater24

you rule 🙂 I was think younger i think I was 12 when I first saw the first evil dead then again after like a couple of years me and my friend sat down and watched all three. these films and nightmare on elm street are all from my childhood. I’m 28.

    • bambi_lives8980

Pretty sure I was a little less than fourteen when I first saw the original, too. And I’m actually fuckin psyched as fuck for this movie..

  • evenscarier

    Very happy!

  • Keegsta

    My god…. I can’t wait.

  • Chariot

This is so beautiful I am crying.

  • Matt-fBR

Loving it so far! Everything looks freakin’ epic. Have to say Jane Levy is almost unrecognizable in this. It hardly seems the same girl from Suburgatory.

I’d have liked to see more of the Shiloh Fernandez character though. This, ‘Maniac’, ‘Carrie’ and ‘You’re Next’ are definetly my most antecipated movies this year.

  • The teaser hit me like a Mack truck to the stomach. It was awesome and totally unexpected, especially from a remake. And even though this shows much of what that already did? I’m stoked as all hell for this flick. So stoked that I’m not even bitching about the (apparent) absence of Ash. Can’t wait for Dredd to come home next week (shameless plug), and after that, I damn sure can’t wait for this to hit theaters.

  • Adam Dodd

Anyone else feel like they need a cigarette after watching that? And I don’t even smoke. So amazing.

    • Zombie-Killa

Light one up for both us Adam!

    • flesheater24

      Legit and a nice shower.

  • Zombie-Killa

Holy shit, I didn’t think anything could be more gruesome and disgusting than the red band trailer, but this tops EVERYTHING in the teaser. I still can’t get over the knife to the tongue at the end. OUCH! Now I’ll think twice about licking a butter knife after cutting a slice of cake. lol.

And I have to wait until April for this! FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!

    • flesheater24

Legit. When she threw up on her face I was expecting some return of the living dead face melting shit.

      • Zombie-Killa

Ha ha! That part was DISGUSTING. I almost gagged. lol.

  • anezka

I’m having that bad feeling it’s gonna be nowhere in theaters in my city. Hope I’m wrong.

    • Zombie-Killa

I don’t know as much as Evan or Brad, but I’m 90% sure the Evil Dead remake is going to be a wide release, i.e. you won’t have to worry about being shut out because of limited screenings.

      • Aaron Emery

Zombie-Killa, that’s the impression I’m under. The production companies distributing this aren’t really known for limited fare.

      • EvanDickson

Yeah it’s a wide release for sure

    • BelaManiac

When I was looking through upcoming movies in my town, it said “In select theaters.” I hope to fuck that was wrong. Either way, I will drive hours to see it.

    • Mr.Mirage

      Two words: road trip.
If it isn’t here, I will go… wherever the Hell “there” is and check it out.

  • flesheater24

Holy jesus fuck I’m sorry if I ever doubted this film. How the fuck is this getting an R ? legit, that looked NC-17 INSIDE gore shit there. LOL Damn I want this now. I cringe, I freaked, I laughed. 🙂 thank you for making a good solid remake. even if the movie does turn out to be godawful I give them credit for trying.

  • flesheater24

I am going to be watchin the shit out of this. This and pacific rim trailer are deft my favs.

  • Aaron Emery

Fuck yes! I hope to hell this isn’t cut for an R!

  • xAshleyMariex

    Beautiful gore *.*

  • grossgreg

If you freeze on the frame right where the girl from Cloverfield is looking in the mirror, you can see what she will become.

  • I can’t wait!! They can’t cut ANYTHING out! Even if it ends up being NC-17.

oh my gosh, i cant stop commentiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiingggg, i loveeeeeeee it

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh perfect

  • menoch

Hard to believe that 2 of the most anticipated horror films of 2013, Evil Dead and Maniac, are remakes! Are we sure the world didn’t really end in 2012?!

  • CraftyChicka

Can not fucking wait! This looks epic!

  • SawanBlood

Made me cry a little inside.. looks so amazing. This is horror!

  • italianzombie

will you rubbish this one too when you review it like you did for TEXAS MASSACRE ? Yes, I’m sure you will.

    • ggium24

probably they will, sei italiano? anche io 😉

    • EvanDickson

I hope not!! I want to love it!

  • italianzombie

and don’t ANY of you saying this looks good DARE watch it then say it sucks – got it ? I will bookmark this page, and when it is released, you all better NOT HATE ON IT OR I WILL REMIND YOU – GOT IT ?

  • chainsawqueer

No words can explain how excited I am for this movie. Bring it the fuck on, April 12th.

  • Infect

    Oh. My. God.

  • lknut22

Holy shit! This is gonna be awesome! I’ll admit to being upset hearing they were remaking it, but it shows they are living up to to the expectations of fans. First day viewer for sure, This looks gory fun!

  • ggium24

Oh so sad, i’m probably going to die in this film 🙁

  • Murdock408

WOWOWOWOW I was excited with the first trailer but now, oh man words cannot express! When she cut her tongue at the end of the trailer and then kissed the other girl I flipped a shit, CANNOT WAIT!

  • Scream1210

This looks AMAZING! Loved the Teaser and love the gory Trailer! Seeing it the day it comes out! I think it will be the best movie of 2013.

  • lucscs100

  • lucscs100

Oh, and didn’t they show, like, all the gory parts in the trailer? I think they did… (Almost gagged with the final scene trailer).

  • HorrorFromDownUnder

Crikey dingo cobber! I feel confident that this movie will not tarnish the beloved evil dead legacy. All it needs now is a Bruce cameo and I’m happy as hell!!!

  • Horrorlover1107

  • VampireJack

Evil Dead is my favourite movie of all time, which I have watched close on 400 times over the years (going back to the mid 80s) and I have to say that this remake will be shite.
It looks crap. It looks like yet another watered down “Twilight” piece of shit……

Ahem – actually it looks pretty good!
    Fingers crossed it’s decent!
    Looking forward to this one……..

  • lucie-with-a-gun

    cut it!
    cut it!

  • TheWalkingFlat

    H O L Y – M O L Y

  • Sami Smith

so beautiful. bloody gore. check. mutilation. check. so excited for this. Were gonna get you.. Not Another Peep,Time to go to sleep! yepper’s can’t wait!

  • blacksmoke

Excellent Trailer, despite my reservations they may well do it justice.

Only one odd disappointment… At the very end of the trailer I really wanted to just hear “J-O-I-N U-S !!!!” 🙂

  • This looks fucking sick!!!

  • Dave_Is_Ghost

Gahhh… Is it April yet? FML. I need this now.

  • horrorking95

It’s not often that a film makes me cringe nowadays let alone a trailer for it! This looks absolutely insanely good! It’s clear that they respect the original and are just reinventing it for a modern audience. It looks brilliant! This is what we need more of! A horror film with balls! (like the French)

  • EvilHead1981

Okay, I’ve decided that I WILL watch this movie. The trailer is misleading. It made me think they were going to go with one thing NOT in the script, but I paused the scene to see, nah, it WAS in the script. Really hoped they would’ve did that(I’m not going to spoil it for anybody). Still, I do think Jane’s acting is probably what’s going to carry this movie. She’s great, be it when she’s scared shitless, or when she’s demonically playful(in true Deadite fashion). I still hope they resolved some of the more idiotic aspects of the script(or just wrote them out).

  • Jhanse3 (Jhanse29)

I’ve never been a huge fan of the Evil dead films but this looks amazing.

  • thaphantom

Let’s be honest… Who doesn’t wanna go see this???

  • horrorluver15

This looks so fucking good. Oh my god. None of you can say that this is gonna be shit because LOOK AT THAT. So much awesome gore! Even references to the original! And I’m tired of people’s bitching “There’s no Ash.” Um hello the original was supposed to be just about 5 people. Not just Ash. So this is going to be the best movie of 2013. At least the best horror movie.

  • Antimax

I just… don’t really get it. The only reason that anything in this trailer looks good, is because it was already good in the original. How can it be a “new thing” or “the best horror movie of this year, or ever”, if it already exists as such? Like the girl in the cellar door: Ok, cool, I guess… but I’ve seen it before. If the original Evil Dead never existed, this would be great, but for now, I’m just gonna go watch the original…

  • GoreFaceSupreme

    I need tissues.

  • That looked awesome, but I still am disappointed that there is no Ash, and no comedy. It would be like remaking Nightmare on Elm Street with no Freddy and no comedy…… Oh wait they did that. This movie will rock anyways!

  • zaglewiz

I’ll watch this for the visuals and all that but after reading the script I’m not as excited as most. I hope I go in opening night and am surprised but honestly they threw all the good bits into these trailers thus leading me to believe that it’ll be nothing more than one of those usual horror movies that gets a 6/10 from me.

  • ggium24

BIG QUESTIONS: Anyone knows if Elizabeth Blackmore dies in this film?

  • GMLeviathan

I’m sorry, i’m not really convinced… Trying too hard to “shock”. I’ve been against this remake from the start, I won’t let a bit of extra blood change my opinion. It’s just my opinion, people. I’m not trolling or hating, i’m glad you all are enjoying it. It’s just not for me. I’ve been fooled enough by commercials that look “promising”, i’ll wait and judge after seeing it. But so far, not really impressed. Hopefully this movie can surprise me and make me applaud it. Only time will tell…….

  • ODM

Now THAT’S what I’m talking about!!! HOLY FU**ING SHIT! This looks AMAZING! That trailer has me so pumped for this. I nearly let out a little wee!!! Lol I squealed with excitement to see/hear “We’re gonna get you, we’re gonna get you, not another peep, time to go to sleep”… Also LOVING “cut it! CUT IT!”

The cinematography looks beautiful and creepy, amazing sets/locations, the acting looks first class, incredible gore, tight direction… Just WOW!

The only thing I miss is the more demonic voices of the original (I always loved that about the originals), I know you hear it briefly with “you’re all going to die tonight”) and the white eyes, I find these eyes are a bit too exorcist/other possession movies… But they’re small niggles.

    Is it April yet :((((((

  • Kills me that we have to wait till April for this! i EXCITED!! :0

  • Bhuntinhumanz

My jaw dropped to the floor…. This is gonna be biblical.

  • livingdeadgirlEDF

Okay so the orginal is always gunna be a classic … But they may have something here and that was a major orgasm.. More blood more scarier hell ya.. I dnt think its gunna b the scariest movie I’ve ever seen because movies now lack that but it may be up there which is a plus for this movie.. Could it bring back the scary in movies… Hmmm maybe we will see in April 🙂

  • darkscarecrow

I’m looking forward to seeing this like an 8 year old waiting for Christmas morning to arrive. I just hope my high expectations aren’t shattered. Most remakes these days suck. I was pleased that no CGI was used in this one.

  • markajacoby

I will admit… I’m a tad more excited than I have been since first hearing about this but how many times has this board wet itself over some trailer remake only to come back the day after it opens screaming what an abomination it was to remake such a classic. Love whoever posted about tagging this page because I would like to see that too. Fingers are crossed but not holding my breath.

  • Microsis

Interesting this version does not look campy like the original. I hope that works out for the film, I’d like a decent story line and not just gore. We’ll see.
