For those who have yet to enter the asylum, this is the kind of clip that will turn you off from ever watching FX’s “American Horror Story: Asylum“ – but it shouldn’t be taken out of context.
In the clip from this past Wednesday’s episode, Sister Jude Martin, played by Jessica Lange, has just had electroshock therapy and has thus gone into a state of euphoria. From it comes a bizarre rendition of “The Name Game.”
In this season, “Set in 1964, “Asylum” takes us into a Church-run haven for the criminally insane, ruled with an iron fist by Sister Jude, a nun with a troubled past. Inside this locked down facility, danger lurks around every corner. From Nazis and serial killers, to mutants and aliens, no one is safe inside these walls.“
