[TV] M. Night Shyamalan Develops “Twin Peaks”-esque “Wayward Pines” For Fox
Fox is making its entry into the development of long-form event series with two drama projects, including “Wayward Pines,” from M. Night Shyamalan and FX Productions.
Based on Blake Crouch’s best-selling novel Pines, ““Wayward Pines” is a thriller about a secret service agent who is sent on a mission to find two missing federal agents. The more he investigates, the more odd happenings he unsurfaces in the town.”
The script is written by Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club) and executive produced by Shyamalan, Hodge, Donald De Line (Green Lantern) and Ashwin Rajan (After Earth).
