We’ve got word on a new indie horror you may want to keep your eye on. From writer Ryan Toyoma (Something In The Dark) and Capturedproducers JP Ouellette and Dylan Matlock, comes the new film Do Not Watch.
While specific plot details are tightly under wraps, ‘Do Not Watch’ aims to turn found footage horror on its head. The film reinvents the genre as it delves into the depths of the human psyche, showcasing the effects of reckless curiosity and the uncontrollable madness that follows.
Shooting commences on February 18th in Los Angeles, and due to the new filming style, a large portion of the film’s rough cut will be completed on-set. Apparently a “major film icon” is set to play himself in this meta Hollywood horror story. The filmmakers are hoping to have Do Not Watch ready for screens in the late Summer or early Fall, around the same time their other film ‘Captured’ is set for its release.
