X-Men: First Class, Stoker and Wolves‘ Lucas Till is headed for Downer’s Grove, signing on to topline Derek Martini‘s indie thriller The Curse of Downer’s Grove” opposite Aimee Teegarden (Scream 4), pictured, and Kevin Zegers (Dawn of the Dead, Frozen).
“Story centers on a paranoid high school senior who’s worried about an apparent curse that takes the life of one student every year at the school.”
Oren Segal, Jason Dubin and Chiara Trento are producing with lensing set for Los Angeles during February.
Martini, who directed “Hick,” is helming from a script he co-wrote with Bret Easton Ellis, adapted from 2001’s Michael Hornburg novel.
Nelson McCormick was once attached to direct with Hayden Panettiere, Nikki Reed and Rebecca De Mornay starring. That changed, obviously.
