Meshuggah vocalist Jens Kidman was forced to sit out last night’s performance in Atlanta due to coming down with the flu. However, the band did not cancel their performance, instead creating a post on Facebook stating, “[Kidman]’s mute for now. WE WILL PLAY ANYWAY. So memorize the lyrics and bring your very best growl Atlanta. You will all be Jens tonight!! Lets make this happen!”
During a performance of “Bleed”, a cardboard cutout of Kidman was put on stage and pre-recorded vocals were broadcasted.
However, during their performance of “New Millennium Cyanide Christ”, singer Sacha Dunable of Intronaut (who is touring with the band) came out to sing the vocals. Check it all out below.
