Exclusive: ‘Flatliners’ Director Has A ‘Dragon Tattoo’

Hot off directing the “Under the Dome” pilot for CBS, Niels Arden Oplev has been attached to direct the modern version of Flatliners for Columbia Pictures, Bloody Disgusting can exclusively report.

Oplev, who also directed the original 2009 The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, will helm the remake penned by Ben Ripley.

Joel Schumacher’s 1990 movie, written by Peter Filardi, centered on a group of medical students – Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Julia Roberts, and William Baldwin – who bring subject themselves to near-death experiences in order to see if anything lies beyond the big sleep. The members of the group then are revisited by physical manifestations of childhood sins are not sure if what they are facing is real or hallucination.

‘Mind Body Spirit’ Exclusive Trailer – Get Twisted with Found Footage Yoga Horror Movie in May

A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.

Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.
