Lionsgate’s Awesome ‘Warm Bodies’ Dated For Home Video

Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment will be releasing Jonathon Levine’s Warm Bodies (review), based on Isaac Marion’s novel, on June 4th (following a digital download window starting May 14th). The Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray/Digital Copy/UltraViolet Copy) will feature 1080p, 2.40:1 video, DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 English and Dolby Digital 5.1 Spanish audio options, and English SDH and Spanish subtitles. The DVD Combo Pack (DVD/Digital Copy/UltraViolet Copy) will feature anamorphic 2.40:1 video, Dolby Digital 5.1 English and Spanish audio options, and English and Spanish subtitles.

A funny new twist on a classic love story, Warm Bodies is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
