Spanish Trailer For ‘The Returned’ Speaks The International Language Of Horror

We’ve got a new trailer for The Returned, the latest genre offering from Exorcismus director Manuel Carballo. Even with two years of college Spanish, I can’t keep up on the dialogue front. But this just goes to prove that film is a visual medium, you can tell what’s happening anyway.

In the film, “Kate works at the hospital in the Return Unit, helping those who have been infected by the virus that turns people into zombies. Kate’s dedication to her work is absolute, but few people realize that for her it is also a personal matter; Kate’s own husband, Jason, has been returned.

Filmax is handling The Returned, we’ll keep you posted on a release date. Head inside for the trailer!

I’m not a fan of the zombie sub-genre but I can appreciate that some filmmakers are trying to do something new with it. Carballo’s ‘Exorcismus’ kind of did the same thing, it didn’t offer much that was new but the raw style and tone of it felt fresh.
