‘The Human Centipede’ Becomes “Cool,” Lands Name Stars…

One of the best things about Tom Six’s The Human Centipede films is that they’re cast with no-names, which makes it have a more gritty and realistic feel. I wouldn’t put it past Six, an artistic genius, to cast “stars” as part of some larger meta joke.

According to EW, The Dark Knight actor Eric Roberts, below, has been cast in Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence). Franchise producer Ilona Six confirmed that the star, who was Oscar-nominated for playing an escaped convict in 1985′s Runaway Train, will appear in the third film of the notorious horror series.

Six also confirmed that Tommy “Tiny” Lister (No Holds Barred, Friday), Robert LaSardo (Death Race), and former porn actress (and former Charlie Sheen paramour) Bree Olson, pictured above, will make their Centipede debuts in the movie.

They join a cast that already features returning villains Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey and the series’ writer-director Tom Six.

The third movie is currently being shot in California and will reportedly feature a 500-person centipede.

Bloody has exclusive word that the centipede is part of a “prison sentence” in the near future. Excellent.

I actually LOVED The Human Centipede (First Sequence), but I wasn’t too crazy about part 2. It felt like Six was just being gross for the sake of being gross. EVERYTHING was so vile and over the top. Martin abusing his genitals with barb wire and sandpaper, his crude centipede, the part where he injects every member of his centipede with a laxative, and that creepy psychiatrist.

Six is already bragging about Part 3 being more nasty and disgusting than part 2, but the original is still my favorite. But I liked the black & white in part 2.

Part 2 was mainly a satire and a slap in the face of the ratings board. It was pretty brilliant and the villain was superb. Can’t wait for the 3rd.

Interesting point of view. I guess I can see why someone else would enjoy Part 2, if you look at it that way.

Was Martin dreaming the whole thing, or did he actually kidnap, torture, and kill all of those people? You know, because at the end of the movie, he’s still watching part 1, and then he gets up, as he hears the cries from the baby, and then the movie ends.

So was it all dream, or did Martin actually build the centipede? Sorry, but this is something that’s been bugging the hell out of me since I watched Part 2, and it pops into my head every now and then! lol.

I loved the first, but the second sucked. Hopefully this one’s good.

I watched the second only and it just grossed me out, but now reading the comments I guess I really need to watch the first one in order to fully understand the franchise. In any case, the premise of the third one sounds great!
