What originally started out as an iOS exclusive, developer Psychoz Interactive has confirmed that Forgotten Memories is now coming to the Wii U and PS Vita later this summer. Good thing too, because neither console has a terribly impressive library of horror games right now.
The game takes place in an abandoned psychiatric hospital — always a solid setting for a horror game — where Inspector Rose Hawkins is searching for a missing girl. Hawkins will need to confront her “weaknesses and fears” to solve the mystery surrounding the girl’s disappearance, giving the game what sounds like an element of psychological horror. I’m looking forward to seeing more of this game, possibly even at E3 next week. See an early version of Forgotten Memories in action after the jump.
