Yeah, I agree , Dean is AWESOME. Loved his work on ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, too.
Carpenter is a God to me, as well, since he gave us all those classic , kick-ass films , such as THE FOG, ESCAPE N.Y., ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13, THE THING, BIG TROUBLE…, etc.
But HALLOWEEN is his true masterpiece, & to write the soundtrack & come up with the spine-chilling Halloween Theme, as well… Omg.
I also loved the ESCAPE from NY Soundtrack…. So Bad-Ass, just like “SNAKE” was.
His The FOG score is also amazingly Chilling to listen to.
The man is a Genius, & a Directorial Legend.
    .
Thank you, John Carpenter, you ROCK

SOLD, I only have a shit quality bootleg of the TV version which has the original color timings. All of the other versions I have are the new color timing anchor bay did when they did the 25th anniversary and onward for DVD.

Glad I didn’t bite on the first bluray release…
