Warner Bros. just released the first TV Spot for The Conjuring and I’m thrilled at the narration actually, it’s sort of a deep-voiced Thanksgiving vibe. That dry, overly serious tone reminds me of when trailers and TV Spots actually used to scare me!
“Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, respectively) were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.”
I’m betting this is one of the bigger horror hits this summer. It hits theaters July 19, and August 2 in the UK.
