Lucky Number Slevin and 30 Days of Night‘s Josh Hartnett and Dark Shadows and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For‘s Eva Green have been tapped as leads for Showtime‘s upcoming eight-episode series “Penny Dreadful,” created, written and executive produced by John Logan and executive produced by Sam Mendes, reports Deadline.
“The psychosexual horror series features some of literature’s most iconic figures as they become embroiled in Victorian London.”
Green, pictured above, will play the heroine, the beautiful Vanessa Ives. Hartnett, pictured below, will play handsome “fake cowboy” American Ethan Chandler.
