this could be good. i enjoyed (much to my surprise) the first movie (remake).

      The first movie (remake)…huh?

      • djblack1313

yup. you know exactly which one i’m referring to. yup.

The problem with rape-and-revenge films is that they’ve been done to death and it’s really hard to offer something fresh and different. The plot of this film sounds exactly the same as Thriller – A Cruel Picture. But I’ll check it out anyway.

    • Ravinus

Some differences, Thriller involved child sexual abuse and forced prostitution, to name a couple. Ahh, the 70’s.

I think it looks promising. I was also surprised at how well done the remake was. In all honesty, if you watch the remake and the original both objectively without the nostalgia of the original clouding your judgement I think the remake is a much higher quality of film. I like the whole revenge plot idea because bad guys who rape and murder in movies always seem to get killed by a gunshot to the head or something and I’m always left thinking how they deserved so much worse!

Well these are decent throw away movies. the original has some replay value and value in general. the remake has none. this one probably won’t either but to me they are a decent time killers.
