Anchor Bay Films has provided Bloody Disgusting with a chilling exclusive new trailer for the next chapter of the controversial I Spit On Your Grave film franchise.
Steven R. Monroe’s I Spit on Your Grave 2 will have a L.A. theatrical engagement on Friday, September 20, 2013 and will be available on Blu-Ray Combo Pack, DVD and On Demand on September 24, 2013. The second trailer is loaded with intense new footage that’s sure to get under your skin.
“Naturally beautiful, Jessica (Dallender) has just settled into New York where she, like many other young women, is trying to make it as a model. But what starts out as an innocent and simple photo shoot soon turns into something disturbingly unthinkable! Raped, tortured and kidnapped to a foreign country, Jessica is buried alive and left to die. Against all odds, she manages to escape. Severely injured, she will have to tap into the darkest places of the human psyche to not only survive, but to exact her revenge…”
The sequel stars Jemma Dallender (“Community”), Joe Absolom (Long Time Dead), Aleksandar Aleksiev (Jack Ryan), Mary Stockley, Michael Dixon, Valentine Pelka, Yavor Baharov, George Zlatarev, Peter Silverleaf and Georgi Zlatarev.
Anchor Bay Films released I Spit on Your Grave in 2010 to critical acclaim. Based on Meir Zarchi’s 1978 version, the film gained the respect of both mainstream and genre critics.

New Line’s ‘Companion’ from ‘Barbarian’ Team Has Been Rated “R” for “Strong Violence” & “Sexual Content”
From New Line Cinema and producer Zach Cregger (Director: Barbarian) comes the upcoming sci-fi/horror movie Companion, which has officially received its “R” rating this week.
Companion has been rated “R” by the MPA for…
“Strong violence, sexual content, and language throughout.”
The film’s cast includes Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets,” The Boogeyman) alongside Rupert Friend (Separation), Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”), Lukas Gage (“You”), Megan Suri (It Lives Inside), and Jack Quaid (Scream, “The Boys”).
Described as a sci-fi/horror movie, Companion will mark the directorial debut of Drew Hancock, who also wrote the script. At this time, plot details are under wraps.
