‘Oldboy’ Poster Takes A Hammer To National Fortune Cookie Day

OLDBOY_NFCday

There’s a holiday for everything, apparently, even fortune cookies. So today, on National Fortune Cookie Day (sigh), we hammer in this new one-sheet for Spike Lee’s Oldboy, starring Josh Brolin, Samuel Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley, Bruce Hornsby, and James Ransone.

With that said, the pun is actually pretty hilarious: “Ask why you were set free.

In theaters November 27, “The pic is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.

This HAS to be fake/fan made

Why in the hell is a fortune cookie involved at all? I guess that’s the sort of racial ignorance you’re dealing with when you make a big budget hollywood movie based off a Korean movie that was based off a Japanese manga.

Not to mention the Hollywood director is spike lee – whom still thinks 99% of the white community is still racist against African Americans. Find me a Spike Lee Joint that doesn’t deal with whites socially damning the blacks. He’s performing CPR on a dead horse while it pleads “Please stop breathing life into me! I just want to die!”. Of course this poster is a mess of racial confusion.
