The first expansion for Blizzard’s massively successful dungeon crawler RPG Diablo III won’t arrive until next year — two years after the game hit PC and Mac. They’re taking their time with it, but with the new locations, enemies and Crusader class, it’s not all that surprising they’re going to ensure it’s up to snuff before green-lighting it. We still have a while left to wait until Reaper of Souls arrives, but I’m sure it will be worth the wait.
After the break I have a gallery of concept art and screenshots of the expansion’s bestiary. They’re an ugly bunch.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is set to arrive on PC, Mac and consoles in 2014.
